For five days, from Tuesday 15 to Saturday 19 December, WArd/waRD will take over the TR Schouwburg Rotterdam: we present performances, lectures, conversations, films and music at various locations in the building.

Using Ann Van den Broek’s artistic work, contributions from other art disciplines and a varied program with scientists and experts, WArd/waRD will take the people attending the Memory/Loss/Series program on a long journey past the blueprint of the disease, its effects on our brain and identity, and coping with memory loss and the individual.

Especially now that issues concerning health, values and meaning are at the center of our attention, thinking and exchanging ideas about coping with disease, loss and dignity are of vital importance. With Memory/Loss/Series, WArd/waRD contributes its artistic and researched insights to the conversation.

During these five days, WArd/waRD offers a special program that is a mix of its own artistic projects with those of others. From lectures, conversations, films, music and workshops.

View the program per day (part) and order your tickets (via Theater Rotterdam). Due to the corona measures, there is a limited number of tickets available, so do not wait too long to order.

Memory/Loss/Series is a production of WArd/waRD (NL/BE) co-produced by partner Theater Rotterdam (NL) and has received grants from Fonds 21 (NL), BankGiro Loterij Fonds (NL), Stichting Bevordering Volkskracht (NL), Elise Mathilde Fonds (NL) and Samen dementievriendelijk (NL).
